Beach Life
HaRishonim Beach — where Netanya meets the Mediterranean. Surf, sun, and coastal culture every day of the year.
HaRishonim Beach
Our home break sits on Netanya's southern coastline — a wide sandy beach with consistent Mediterranean swells, a paved promenade, and one of the most active surf communities on the Sharon coast.
Mornings bring offshore winds and clean shoulder-high sets. Afternoons light up with golden-hour sessions as the promenade fills with runners, families, and surfers carrying boards back from the water.
- Consistent sand-bottom beach break
- Lifeguard stations May–October
- Showers & lockers at promenade
- Free parking on Ben Gurion Blvd

When to surf
Netanya's Mediterranean breaks are rideable year-round with the right gear and conditions.
Summer (May–Sep)
Small to medium swells, warm water (24–28°C). Ideal for beginners. Early mornings before onshore wind picks up.
Autumn (Oct–Nov)
Best season for all levels. Consistent swells, mild air temps, and fewer crowds. Our busiest teaching months.
Winter (Dec–Mar)
Bigger swells for experienced surfers. Wetsuit recommended (18–20°C water). Dramatic skies and empty lineups.
